Finding A Mate!

WARNING! You Are About To Read The Truth!

There has been a great deal of discussion about marriage, finding the right mate, what makes a good marriage, where does one start? You start where it began. What you are about to read is the initial foundation & principle of my fourth book: "When Your House is Not Alone"

"Men, Before we can receive our mate we must first understand our purpose. The Key is understanding our design. When we understand our design, we will apprehend our purpose because design preempts and defines purpose. Purpose reveals identity and identity provides stability and security.
"And the TWO shall become ONE Flesh

When we know our purpose which is also revealed through our vision, we will recognize our mate because our mate will be that person sent by God to under-gird our purpose and birth the living manifestation of our vision. She will see our strengths and she will recognize our weakness. She will build a life around our gifts and strengths while covering the vulnerability of our weakness with the "rib" that she bears that once belonged to us. She will complete us.

We are taught in this secular world that we don't need anyone to complete us, but what did God say? "It is not good for man to be alone, so I will make him a helper. And so He took a "rib" from the side of the man and fashioned (literally shaped and molded her, making her attractive and desirable to the man. He even made her smell good, and gave her a sway in her hip that spoke in the quietness of the male mind) a women.

The man was called to name her, signifying his headship (not his dominion, but his leadership, the one given the vision so that he could lead). The Man said, "Bone of my Bone (Rib), Flesh of my flesh (part of his body, meant to be merged once again) she shall be called Wo-man (for she was taken out of man for man). A man, no matter how strong, is not complete with out his "rib". A woman no matter how powerful (and she is extremely powerful when she is acquainted with her identity and self-worth)is not complete until she is returned to the flesh from which she was taken (and the two shall become one flesh) making whole once again that thing that had been separated.

Men, when God returns your rib, he is returning that missing piece that was originally designed to cover those vital organs that would be exposed to mortal harm without them. When God took a rib from Adam, he exposed the man's weakness, but what He was actually doing is creating a situation that a man literally needed (not just wanted) a woman.

Women, you will recognize that man because his vision will be specifically molded in manner that it calls the passions of your gifts to move in His vision while birthing his vision you will give life to your own.

The key to this is simple, until we value and honor that great gift of a God-fashioned mate, we will continue to destroy the happiness, passion and potential of others. You have been given the truth; what will you do with it? ~ Dr. Rick Wallace
