The Power of Faith

"...which God, who does not lie, promised..." (Titus 1:2)

Faith Simply Knows
This is what faith sees; it sees the principle of God's veracity. God does not lie; not only in this promise, but all that He has made. Faith is not mustering up enough information or heart to believe that something will happen, it is knowing that it will happen, based on the faithfulness of God. Faith is seizing the promises of God and converting them into prophesy. It is knowing that what God has promised He will perform.

Faith rejoices in advance of the breakthrough. It does not wait on visual or other sensual confirmations, it moves and responds to what it knows. Faith understands that it is the substance and foundation of all that is expected and knows that no other confirmation is necessary.

You Choose The Direction You Take
Many pray for bigger faith, not understanding that what they are really praying for is a greater ability to see. Faith is developed through hearing Gods Word and allowing it settle into the heart as truth. When God's promises become truth in your heart, when they are not corrupted by the principles of pragmatism and empiricism, they rise up in your heart as the foundation of faith. Faith stands on God's Word, nothing else.

God cannot lie, so if He has said it, you can stand on it. It is time to start walking in faith. Physical sight is best saved for maneuvering through the physical functions of daily life, but it serves no purpose in conquering and seizing that which is spiritual. Faith is all you need to obtain all that God has for you. Stop believing the lies of the enemy presented to you in your circumstances. Remember, Faith bends facts. ~ Dr. Rick Wallace
